Logo paper (pictured below) is to be used to print the weekly chapel handouts upon (it is mandatory that handouts be handed out to your team, visiting team and umpires). Bible studies (if you conduct them) are also to be printed on logo paper.
We appreciate the fact that many chapel leaders put money out of their pocket to run copies at a copy center or on their own home computer. We suggest that you ask your church if they would permit you to make copies at their office, or once you build a relationship with the office staff at the ballpark, perhaps they would run the copies for you or allow you the use of their machine.
If you do not have logo paper, it can be ordered by logging in and clicking “Order Resource Material” and filling out the resource order form.
Regarding printing handouts, often, especially when the humidity is high, running copies through a machine a second time can be difficult because static builds up in the paper. Here are some tips that might make printing chapel handouts easier.
- Set to print just one copy of the inside (page 1) and check it for placement on the page. Make any adjustments to line it up if necessary, and then continue running all copies of the inside page that you need.
- Wait a while before running the second side (page 2) in order to help alleviate the static. If possible, run the second side the next day.
- Before running the second side, fan the pages several times. This helps prevent pages from sticking together.
- Print just one copy of the second side and check it for placement on the page. Make any adjustments to line it up if necessary, and then continue running all copies.
- When printing the second side, try running them in five or ten-copy segments as this seems to go through the printer without interruption. If they won’t run through properly, try running them one at a time. (It takes a little longer, but you can eliminate frustration and save paper.)
